Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the west in an excellent game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, unlike most other poker games that gamblers play against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to fret about other, more skillful gamblers winning their $$$$.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and plan without having to make quick selections.

It is also much simpler to play for an extended time with basically a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the house gets seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
