One of the biggest issues that I encountered when I first got into Holdem was figuring out what cards to play in what Location. Usually I would have burned on a hand that I thought was a very good starting hand. Come to locate out they were very good hands, just not in the location I was betting them from. Here can be a pretty basic list of what kind of hands to wager on and what location it is suitable to wager on them in. Keep in mind this chart does not factor in raises or suits.
Wager on From Any Placement
AA KK Queen, Queen JJ TT Nine, Nine Eight, Eight Ace, King AQ AJ Ace, Ten King, Queen KJ
Wager on Mid to Late Position
66 55 King, Ten Queen, Jack QT JT
Play in Late Placement Only
Ace, Nine Ace, Eight A7 King, Nine K8 Q9 J9 Jack, Eight Ten, Nine T8 Nine, Eight Nine, Seven
In case you are just starting to wager on poker, playing these hands at the recommended positions will support you usually be in a safe position prior to the flop. As your casino game progresses, you will be able to add far more hands to this list and know how to play them in specific situations.
