Have you observed the new PokerPro hold’em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks ago when I took a quick trip with my parents to the WinStar Gambling establishment in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my name to be summoned at the live tables, I noticed how the other people around the PokerPro tables interface with one another. It was quite fascinating to say the very least. Since the poker table was computer controlled, there had been no poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was stale. Maybe I was the only one that discovered this, but I did observe the gamblers at the table had a lifeless high quality to them. The reason behind this might be since there was no human interaction with the dealer, the environment was relatively dull and the players looked bored. It was almost as if I was viewing a live variant of an online holdem poker room rather than sitting with hot bodied humans. It was a little bit bizarre and I kept flashing back to a show of ST:TNG and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the are living tables was over an hour, I decided to see how the casino game action was and to experience this new texas hold em poker gaming technology. After playing a few hands, I genuinely felt like I was wagering at home. The lack of activity in the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are feasible at these electronic tables.

Another thing I observed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a lot of hands at the PokerPro table and discovered that the bet on was a good deal like an online hold’em poker website. That might have been just a coincidence, except I found it to become extremely odd.

Right after betting a couple of rounds with this "unique texas holdem poker technology", I made a decision that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m much better off wagering texas hold’em poker on the internet at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Betting house were to acquire rid of the live poker tables, I think they would loose a lot of gamblers.
