Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in a wonderful game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, not like almost all other poker games that players wager with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about any other, more experienced players taking their moolla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, novices are able to take their time and plan without having to make frenzied choices.

It’s also easier to gamble on for a very long time with just a little amount of money since, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the dealer receives seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
