Internet poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s initial card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with an amount on par with the initial wager. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
