Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a wonderful game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the house, not like most other poker games that gamblers bet against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable players taking their money.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and plan without having to make hasty choices.

It is also much simpler to bet on for a very long time with only a little bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the casino receives seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and a two card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
