Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the western in an excellent game for beginning level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to worry about other, more knowledgeable people winning their $$$$.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, beginners are able to take their time and plan while not needing to make hasty selections.
It’s also simpler to bet on for a very long time with only a small amount of money since, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the croupier is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
