Online poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No further bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players are given 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, including an amount equal to the original bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pays out cash even with your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
