Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the west in a fantastic game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the casino, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By betting against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about any other, more advanced players winning their mulla.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also much simpler to enjoy for an extended time with only a little bit of money after all, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the house gets seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
