Web poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you need to either make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning wager, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes directly to the dealer. After the wager is the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including an amount equal to the original wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The bank pony’s up cash even with your bet and controlled odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
