Ah, the tilt. If a poker gambler claims at no time to have stared faced down the barrel of an upcoming poker steam – they are either telling a lie or they have not been competing very long. It is an inevitable effect of participating in Holdem, or for that matter any kind of poker.
After all we are assumingly (almost all of us) in the game for one purpose – to earn cash, it certainly makes sense that we would bet accordingly to maximize our profit potential. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you suffer a gigantic blow in a NL game and your stack is at $120. You’ve burned eighty dollars in a hand where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and had a ten to one advantage. And that fiend! He bled you dry on the river? – Well hold it right here. This is a quintessential choice for a fresh bettor to begin tilting. They basically burned too much cash on one hand that they really should have won and they’re aggravated
